September 19, 2008 PRESS RELEASE “Community Poop Scoop” The Yukon Kennel Club is celebrating the national Canadian Kennel Club’s first ever National
Responsible Dog Ownership Week, Sept. 20th – 27th by doing a “Community Poop Scoop”. The week
of September 21 – 27th is a week dedicated to the promotion of responsible dog ownership and
sharing the importance of the human animal bond. The Yukon Kennel Club is supporting this event
by inviting all interested public to join YKC members on Sunday, September 21st at 1:30 pm at the
SS Klondike. The group will walk the Millennium Trail, enjoying a walk with like minded humans
and dog companions. As the group walks, with bag in hand, they will pick up poop that has been
left along the trail. Diposable gloves and bags will be provided. If bringing dogs, please bring on leash.
